Nick Pelloni

Home

Made with cardboard, balsa wood, string, and metal hardware.

Class assignment for AP 3D with the prompt "home". I created a 1/10th scale model of my desk, keeping it unpainted to make the color of the clutter on the desk stand out.

Nature Magnets

Paper Mache done over wire structures, then painted with acrylics and attached to rope, in order to give the impression of natural growth.

This originally was a class assignment for AP 3D to create a set of decorative magnets, however, I wished to give them some purpose, so I made the flowers able to hold notes and items, in order to clean up the clutter on the surface of fridges.

Woods

Mixed media.

First project that is a part of my sustained investigation for AP 3D. I wanted to make a model showcasing the feeling behind music in an otherwise dark environment.

Stop Motion Animation

Part One of an animation assignment for my Digital Design class, where we had to create an animation in a 3D setting using paper.

Rotoscope

Part Two of the animation assignment, where we were tasked with filming a short video of ourselves and then rotoscoping over it.

Done in Adobe Photoshop.

Magazine Collage

Done with paper and magazine cutouts.

I wanted to create a collage for a sketch I had done, and so I took a large, 18 x 24 sheet of cardstock and sketched an outline for the project. Then, in order to have bright colors, I took paper and magazine scraps and glued them to the sheet.

Cyberpunk Bottle

Mixed Media

Made with the intention of conveying loneliness and messiness in a world filled with color and life.

After cutting the bottle in half, I made buildings to fill the center, then I painted the colorful graffiti, finally finishing with the characters and boxes.
